If we had to imagine a stroller straight out of a James Bond movie, it would be the Origami Stroller. When we first heard about this stroller, we were a bit skeptical. We have a very high end stroller and were very pleased with its performance. But this stroller made a believer out of us. I mean this is not your typical stroller and I would go as far as saying… they have truly re-defined the stroller.
Let’s start with the most impressive part of this stunning stroller – like magic – it folds itself with a touch of a button. This is huge! It significantly cuts down on the time it takes to get in and out of the car. It also allows you to get into tight spaces you couldn’t before with a traditional stroller. For example, we were at a busy restaurant and seating was tight so we just touched a button to fold our stroller and then put it up against the table
.As if that was not enough, this amazing stroller is self-charging! There are generators in its rear wheels that charge the stroller while you walk. You can even charge your cell phone. We love this feature! The people that designed this stroller were definitely parents! They wanted the Origami to look beautiful but they also wanted to address what even high-end strollers lack. This stroller has a lot of storage, four wheel suspension, four cup holders, adjustable recline, cell phone charging, running lights, reflective piping, pathway lights and luggage-style pullwheels. It also works with certain infant car seats for newborns.
We have yet to take this stroller out without being stopped to answer questions about it. It’s that cool! It was love at first sight for Mr. Cool and I! Our little Ms. Cool also gave it two thumbs up. The cost for this state-of-the-art, futuristic stroller is $850. To put it in perspective, our high end stroller was over $1200!
