I didn’t start collecting art until I was in my late forties and I so wish I had started earlier. One of my favorite artists is Ali Sabet. Having his artwork around my home and workspace has created more joy and calm in my world.
Ali Sabet (@sabet) is recognized for his paintings of beautiful and confident women with large breathtaking eyes and his signature long lashes and defined lips. He is also known for his unique “love script” that is incorporated in all of his work. His work captures the depth, strength and beauty of feminine energy and healing energy. Sabet uses Japanese brushes, Sumi ink and vibrant colors in his paintings to create sophisticated designs that inspire hope, compassion, perseverance and love. About a year after I started collecting his work, I had the privilege to work with him. Seeing him paint in person is an amazing experience – it’s as if art just pours out of him.
On my Mother’s Day Segment on CBS San Diego, I suggested that you find out which artist your mom or wife follows on Instagram and get them a gift card, signed print or original artwork. This would also make a great gift for dad! I’m even getting my kids to collect art – they love Ali Sabet’s Pixopop characters! Some artists can also paint their signature designs on cherished objects in your home, walls, vases, handbags, shoes, motorcycles, etc. Some have jewelry made from their designs. Below, I’ve included a few of the projects Sabet has worked on.
If you love technology, Ali Sabet is one of the top-ranked NFT artists and has done many collaborations with artists around the world. If you have wanted to collect some digital art to display in your space, I would recommend the following galleries –KnownOrigin and Opensea.
