When I think of looking for a high quality camera, I usually check Cannon or Nikon. In this case, I was looking for a small camera that combines a good picture with super high speed shooting. That’s when I found the Casio EX-ZR100 Camera. You are going to be amazed at what a camera under $300 can do. This is a 12.1 Megapixel camera that has a 12.5x optical zoom, 3.0 LCD, and takes 1080p HD movies. But that’s not why we love it…
We love it for its 40 frames per second and its’ ability to never miss a picture! Its’ high speed continuous shooting technology instantly captures burst of images. And it starts capturing the action before you even fully press the shutter button. We initially starting using this camera when our baby was 3 months old. It was difficult to always keep the large SLR camera nearby so we started taking pictures with out mobile phone. The problem was the baby would move and we would miss the picture. This small camera allowed us to capture every precious moment. We never missed a shot! It also has a slide panorama feature that let’s you take 360 panoramic images while keeping distortions and blurring to a minimum.
We also love the video capability on this camera. High speed movie recording captures up to a 1,000 frames per second. It provides full HD 1080p video and lets you capture stills without interrupting your recording. Overall, it’s a pretty cool camera. To be honest, we would have paid more than $300 for it!
